Katarina Thorstensson has since she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Design Institute of San Diego in California worked with glass. First in San Diego, CA, and later at Eldoluft Glasstudio in Båstad, Sweden.
Recently she started working with a tecnique which differs from the traditional glass blowing. This tecnique is called lampworking and the glass is being worked over a hot torch instead of large glory holes and kilns. With this tecqnique she can create beautiful and sparkling glass jewelry and all of them are strikingly unique since everything is absolutely hand made. Enjoy!
